Finding a pediatric dentist near you

How do I choose a pediatric dentist near me?

Check three things: that the clinic treats children only, that it has a way to calm a frightened child (such as laughing gas), and what other parents say in their reviews. Being close matters too, because you will come back every six months.

What is the difference between a pediatric dentist and a family dentist?

A pediatric dentist has trained for three more years after dental school, only in children’s teeth, behaviour and growth. Dr. Sanchit Paul holds this degree (MDS in Pediatric Dentistry). A family dentist treats every age and sees children alongside adults.

Are you open on Sundays?

No. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

My child is in pain. Can you see us today?

Pain and injuries are treated as urgent and fitted in the same day wherever possible. Please call +91 97171 06083 rather than booking online, so we can find you a slot.

At what age should my child first see a dentist?

By the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth coming through, whichever comes first. An early first visit is short and gentle, and it catches problems before they hurt.

My child is very scared of the dentist. Can you still help?

Yes. The first visit is booked for at least 40 minutes, and most of it is spent letting your child settle. If a child needs more help, laughing gas keeps them calm and awake. If your child had a bad visit somewhere else, tell us on the phone, because it changes how we book.

Do you treat special needs patients?

Yes, at any age. Children are seen at the clinic in Phi II, and adults are treated in a hospital setting. Read more on special needs dentistry.
