With a philosophy deeply rooted in constant learning and improvement, I am Dr. Shivika Agarwal, and it is with great enthusiasm and dedication that I present my journey to you. Over a decade, my pursuit of excellence has evolved me from a child dental surgeon to a renowned tongue tie expert and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My zeal for bettering myself every day only grows stronger, and I eagerly anticipate the advancements the coming decade will bring.

My foundation in dentistry was laid at MJP Rohilkhand University, UP, India, where I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery between 2005 and 2010. Following this, I broadened my expertise with a year-long residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, in 2010, coupled with a Post Graduate Diploma of Hospital Administration from Medvarsity University at Apollo Hospital.

Further honing my skills, I undertook a Mini Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montreal General Hospital, Canada, in 2015, and an Observership at SickKids Hospital, Toronto, Canada, in the same year. My commitment to comprehensive patient care is further evidenced by my certifications, including a Certification in Psychological First Aid (2015), Stanford’s Short Course on Breastfeeding (2020), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (2020), and as an Advanced Certified Lactation Professional (2020-21).

In 2022-23, I achieved a milestone by clearing the International Board Certification for the Lactation Exam. My dedication to my field is reflected in my ongoing education, such as attending the Annual Tongue Tie Symposium Gold Learning since 2019, and the Annual Gold Lactation Conferences & CUIBP since 2021.

As an experienced Tethered Oral Tissues Release Provider since 2018 and an Honorary Member of the Association For Lactation Professionals Of India (ALPI) since 2019, I take pride in offering specialized care. My experience in lactation counseling, which began in 2019, is a testament to my commitment to holistic patient wellness.

I firmly believe in virtues like perseverance and committed hard work, and it is these principles that drive me to provide the best for my young patients. My journey has been one of continual growth and dedication, and I am excited to bring this wealth of experience and care to you and your family.
